I am most intrested in this subject , but I have a question that my Grandpa needs to know before he dies of cancer. How did the Egyptians control thousands of people without the resources of electricity,sewage.Plus their' being miles from the Nile for water.

PS)I have sort of got the info on the food but is this correct? Did they get their' food from the Egyptians growing date palms and giving them rice? (I am referring to the building of The pyramid of Giza).
