According to Zahi Hawass, director of the Giza Plateau, the film footage from Gatenbrink's robot, Upuaut, does _not_ show evidence of a crack or crevice at the bottom of the "door" in the southern shaft of the Queen's chamber. Without hard evidence of the existence of this "hidden chamber", it would be imprudent to risk more damage to the pyramid of Kufu. It is easy to believe in conpiracy theories because they break the rule of falsifiability - ie: they can not be disproven. I do not see why the Egyptian government would want to "hide" such evidence, since a new discovery would increase tourism and better the Egyptian economy.
