I strongly encourage you to pursue your interest in Egyptology. Many people spend their lives working in jobs they don't like. That being said, there are few jobs available in the field of Egyptology. A few examples are: museum curator, professor, tour guide, archeaologist, and lawyer. You will have to complete a PhD in Egyptology to become an Egyptologist. Knowledge of the French and German languages is necessary to study secondary sources. What country do you live in? Your first step would be to find out what universities offer Egyptology programs in your country (information is available on the web) I hope this helps.
