I recently discussed the construction with an engineer friend who told me about a new hypothesis. Apparently, the kind of stone used to build the pyramids can be formed from a moist clay form; therefore, the ancient Egyptians could have carried the moist clay up the the necessary level, form it into large blocks, and let it dry. I had never heard of this before. Has anyone else?
